Martial Arts
June 28-July 2
In this super fun camp, your child will learn the fundamentals of karate and create meaningful art. Lori Miley from Jim Smith Karate will teach your child the basics of self defense, fitness drills as well as an intro to Kata (forms). Lacy Shilagani at Ninjacat Studio will immerse campers in a variety of media including clay, fused glass and paint. Students will attend class at both locations during the week. Each day there will be a nice balance of karate and art. It’s a perfect way to get your kids moving this summer while also being provided the opportunity to be creative and express themselves.

Make It, Wear It, Display It
July 19-23
This summer, make your own line of jewelry and decorations! In this camp, we will make all kinds of jewelry, dip dye a pair of shorts, create your very own ceramic flower pot, and create a personalized piece of fused glass for your room as well as so much more. If you like to accessorize, you will love this camp.

The Gift of Nature

Beautiful things are all around us, in the trees, on the ground, and even in the air. We will explore and find beauty everywhere outside. You will be making beautiful ceramic flower bowls, fused glass foliage and so, so, so much more. Everything in this camp is inspired by nature.

Ocean Treasures
July 26-30
It’s the best time of the year to visit the ocean! Come and explore the sea. We will be creating the sweetest sea creatures with everything from clay and socks to fused glass and paint!

Pine Trees and Hearts
July 12-16
If you cannot get enough of the holidays while they are around, come and celebrate them again by making these fun decorations and ornaments. The campers will be designing and making their own heart shaped pillow, creating all kinds of ornaments using clay and fused glass as well as learning about other lesser known holidays. The last day we will celebrate Holi, an Indian holiday involving colorful powder.

Each camp (with the exception of the Martial Arts camp) is...
half day from 9am-noon
Ages 5-12 are welcome at every camp.
$250
A deposit of $50 is required when signing up. This counts toward your total cost. All materials and supplies are provided at no additional cost. Please send your child in with a snack and drink each day. All camps will have a small gallery opening at its completion. This is where you get to come and take joy in all of your child’s hard work.

Hello Everyone,
It breaks my heart to say that Ninjacat will not be offering any summer camps this year. It took me a long while to come to this acceptance, but this year it is just not possible. I will however still be able to provide art at birthday parties and for Girl Scout Troops and adult clay and glass nights, just not at the studio. I hope each one of you enjoys the summer with your babies and I will miss them all terribly. Thank you for your support through these 5 years, I have enjoyed getting to know your kids and having the opportunity to see them grow in their art as well as in their lives. I could not have grown my business without the unwavering support of all of you and words cannot express my appreciation. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Snuggle down. It’s time to enjoy all that the night time has to offer and create art that lights up the night. We will be making a sparkling fused glass star, a hanging moon decoration, a sleepy time bookmark and so much more!
August 16-20
This is the most colorful and messy camp offered. We will splatter paint, tie dye and melt stuff! You will not come home clean any day of this camp. It’s the perfect way to end the summer.
